Getting started

What is SellRiot?

SellRiot brings independent shops, vintage finds, and live selling together. Explore a shop, discover an item, or follow a creator’s show.

Do I need an account?

You can browse public shops without signing in. Sign in to buy, save finds, message a shop, manage your wallet, or use Seller studio.

How do I find my profile?

Open the top-right mobile menu and tap your name or photo. Your shop has an @username address, and you can change your photo, story, and colors in Shop profile.

Is checkout currently in test mode?

Yes. Checkout and shipping-label features currently use test services. Test payments do not move real money, and test shipping labels must not be used to mail packages.

Buying & orders

How do I buy a find?

Open the item, choose any variation and quantity, and review checkout. Your saved wallet card and shipping address are used to calculate shipping and tax before you confirm payment.

Can I use a credit or debit card?

Yes. Add a supported credit or debit card in Wallet. Stripe handles card entry. Your bank may ask you to complete an additional verification step.

Where can I see my order?

Visit My purchases for receipts and shipment details. Seller orders are shown separately in Seller studio.

What should I do if an item arrives damaged?

Keep the item and packaging, photograph the problem, and message the shop with your order reference. You can also contact support. Review the shop’s policies for returns and refunds; this FAQ does not promise an automatic refund.

Your shop & listings

What does it cost to list?

Sellers list for free. No seller fees. Buyers pay the Security fee of 6% of the item subtotal plus $0.50 per order. Shipping and applicable tax are shown separately before payment.

How many photos can I add?

A listing supports up to 15 photos. Use clear photos of the actual item and include its condition, details, and any flaws.

Can a listing have variations or multiple units?

Yes. Set your stock quantity, or add up to three optional variations with their own price, weight, and quantity. Purchased units are subtracted from inventory.

Where do I set my shop policies?

Use Store settings for your shipping, cancellation, return, refund, and exchange policies. Published policies appear on your shop and item pages.

Packing & shipping

How is shipping calculated?

Checkout uses the delivery address, item quantity, and shipping weight to request a shipping quote. Review shipping and tax in the order total before paying.

How do shipping profiles work?

Choose a suggested weight profile or create a custom one under Shipping profiles. Each variation can have its own weight.

What happens when I mark an item shipped?

Choose Mark item shipped in Orders to fulfill. The popup guides you through a product photo, a sealed-box photo with its label, and shipment confirmation.

What if the barcode does not scan?

Take a sharper photo with the entire label inside the square frame. A mismatched tracking number blocks shipment confirmation. An unreadable barcode requires you to check and confirm the tracking number manually.

Can I print a test label?

Yes. Seller orders offers test shipping labels as PDFs. They are test documents, not valid postage. Print at actual size when checking the layout.

Wallet, fees & earnings

What is included in my total?

The item subtotal, shipping, applicable tax, and the buyer’s Security fee are shown before payment. The Security fee is 6% of the item subtotal plus $0.50 per order. Read more about the Security fee.

Why are my seller earnings pending?

Earnings stay pending until 48 hours after the order is marked delivered. Check Wallet & earnings for the status. Test-mode earnings are simulated and cannot be withdrawn.

How do I connect seller payments?

Open Payouts to start or continue Stripe Connect setup. Stripe manages its onboarding and verification requirements.

Does SellRiot store my full card number?

Card details are entered through Stripe. SellRiot stores payment references and limited card details, such as the brand and last four digits, to show your saved payment methods.

Live shows & staying safe

Can I add products to a live show?

Yes. Add inventory to your show, then pin an item from the creator view. Viewers can open the pinned item and use the purchase popup while watching.

Are live shows recorded?

Creators can enable recording of their creator video. A show’s recording status indicates when recording is active. Recordings and related sale records help document the show.

Who can see my packing photos?

Packing photos are kept in private storage, separate from public listing images. The seller can review their photos through their authenticated order page.

How do I report an issue or request a new category?

Use Support and choose the topic that fits. Include useful details and an order reference when relevant. Never send passwords, card security codes, or full card numbers.
